Operation Preparation

Twenty minutes can change the future of a Knox County student.    Make an impact by volunteering to participate in the Operation Preparation initiative, a week dedicated to college and career readiness.  Volunteer to talk with an 8th- or 10th- grade student about what they need to do to get ready for college and/or career.   Your twenty minute session may change their life.

In a 20-minute session you’ll discuss:
• The student’s career interests and required education/training
• Whether the student is on target to meet their goals
• Courses the student needs to prepare them for a successful future

An hour of your time can make a difference for students and for Knox County!
