The technology
department is responsible for all aspects of administrative and
instructional technology in the Knox County Public Schools.
Classrooms in the school district are equipped with teacher
workstations, student workstations, telephones, closed-circuit
television, SmartBoards, and other instructional technology tools.
Support requests for technology should be entered into the
district's work order system by the school principal or secretary.
Ed Tech Facilitators
The district's Ed Tech ARRA grant helps fund a
minimum of one Ed Tech facilitator per school. The Ed
Tech facilitator is responsible for helping training teachers in the
school building on using instructional technology.
