Knox Central High
School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and
Schools. Our school educates between 900 to 1000 students
annually. We, as a faculty, accept the responsibility to enable
each student to become productive, well-rounded individuals
capable of making a worthy contribution to society. We offer a
comprehensive instructional program with a wide selection of
academic and technical classes. Students may receive college
credit through our Dual Credit and Advanced Placement programs
in subjects ranging from Advanced Placement English to Advanced
Placement Biology. We are also the recipient of the KY AHED
grant which allows us to offer career awareness for Seniors. We
offer student job shadowing experiences and work-based learning
for seniors, which provides them with real life work experience
and responsibilities. We offer a variety of co-curricular and
extra-curricular activities to develop individual interests. |
